TubeOnAI ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Lumina mobile application ("App"), an educational tool that helps nursing students prepare for the NCLEX-RN® and NCLEX-PN® examinations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account information: your name and email address when you create an account, including if you sign in with Google.
• Support communications: messages, questions, or feedback you send us.
• AI Tutor inputs: the questions and text you submit to the in-app AI tutor.

Information created as you use the App

• Study and performance data: the questions you view and answer, your responses, scores, time spent, study activity, weak-area results, and your readiness score. We need this data to provide core features such as progress tracking, weak-area drills, and your readiness score.
• Subscription status: which plan you have (Free, Pro, or Pro Max) and whether it is active.

Information collected automatically

• Device and technical data: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, and app-generated identifiers.
• Diagnostic data: crash reports, performance data, and basic usage analytics that help us keep the App running and improve it.

Payment information

• When you subscribe, your payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your full card number. We receive only limited information such as a transaction identifier and your subscription status.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and your account;
• Personalize your study experience, including weak-area drills, recommendations, and your readiness score;
• Provide the AI tutor and generate explanations;
• Process and manage your subscription and any Pass Guarantee claim;
• Respond to your support requests;
• Monitor performance, fix problems, and develop new features;
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks; and
• Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share your information

We share information only in these situations:

• Service providers: companies that host our infrastructure, provide analytics, deliver the AI tutor, and process payments, acting on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations.
• AI provider: text you submit to the AI tutor is processed by our third-party AI provider to generate responses.
• App stores and payment processors: to process and manage subscriptions and refunds.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, with continued protection of your information.

4. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services, which may include Apple, Google, our AI provider, and analytics providers. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. We may retain certain information longer where required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can:

• Update your name or email in the App's settings;
• Cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account; and
• Request access to or deletion of your account and data by contacting us at support@tubeonai.com or using the in-app option.

We will respond as required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information, and you may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR): Our legal bases for processing are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, your consent (where applicable), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. International data transfers

We may process and store your information in countries other than the one in which you live, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

9. Children's privacy

The App is intended for adults and nursing students. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
